Even though Viper HD might look unspectacular at first view it features some sophisticated shape details:
The rocker line with a longer flat in the center improves the stability and efficiency in sub-planing conditions. A harmonious rocker towards the tail enables a smooth transition into gliding/planing mode without sudden or overwhelming power surges.
Fuller rails in the nose and center increase the volume and make the Viper HD super stable. Ergonomic rails towards the tail result in a good response to sail or foot steering.
Ideal for the first-time windsurfing experience: The overall width provides excellent stability for uphauling, while the parallel outline and extended waterline keep it tracking well in a straight line when at lower speeds. Yet this design concept delivers effortless gliding and early planing making it the ultimate school board.
The bottom features a Vee with concaves in the front combined with a flat progressive Vee towards the back. This is the ideal compromise between comfort, easy going and control even in chop.
